Playing devils advocate here, if pain killers are OK then I guess I can pop one of my tramadols before the evening 10. If it stopped my legs hurting then I would be faster I bet! Strictly speaking I see the no drugs point but only if its absolutely nothing. Otherwise its all rather artificial as the line is drawn wherever some one decides. I would argue that indoor training is cheating its hardly natural pedaling your nuts off going nowhere. No is eating a fancy diet for that matter.
I do thin hat if a drug is allowed for one person it should be for all.
