Commonwealth Games - potential Spoilers

Post by TrevA »

Really enjoying the track cycling at the CW Games. The qualifying for the men's pursuit was one of the best I've ever seen, with the CW record going several times. Britain really does have some strength in depth in both the men's and women's teams. The finals are just coming now.

I've just been unreliably informed that we have won gold in the trivial pursuits.

Yes, Charlie in the men's for England and Katie in the Women's for Scotland. Katie's brother John got silver in the men's too. Lewis Oliva of Wales just got silver in the Kierin.

Australia expected a clean sweep in the men's pursuit but didn't win any medals.

More medals for the home nations - a silver in the men's time trial for Harry Tanfield and a Bronze for Hayley Simmonds. And a 1-2 in the Women's Mountai Biking with Annie Last winning and Evie Richards 2nd.
