Hi,
The organiser sent this out:-
"I was informed at 7.09pm last night, 25 September 2018, that the RTTC National Championship hill climb for 2018 will not be held at Shelsley Walsh on October 28th 2018. I have no further information; please contact your National Committee member for more details."
This is obviously very late in the day, people have already booked travel and accomodation, also entered the event on the same course on the 7th Oct.
It would be good to know anything further if anyone knows. Something has happened that has stopped this event that was looking to be a great event at a unique venue.
It won't be easy to re-organise, get a road closed etc with just a month to go.
National Hill Climb at Shelsley Walsh - what is happening?

Looks like it will now be on Pea Royd, Stocksbridge.
Something dramatic must have happened between the organisers and owners of the venue at Shelsley Walsh for such a change to have been necessary.

For everyone's information this was a decision by CTT board taken without consultation, negotiation or sensible dialogue with the organising group.
Worcester St Johns CC, Wyre Forest CRC and Midland Auto Club (Shelsley Walsh) have written to CTT to ask for an explanation.
The response has yet to be received..........................
