Interesting research, though I would assumed the back row would be worse than the row ahead of it, as the lead rider has less air resistance as someone is behind them.
Also, it goes into the detail of how they've done the research, would it not be easier just to use an actual peleton and power meter readings, this would also include the rolling resistance.
