Hmm, jot seen anything on TV other than the odd protest poster,TBH I was surprised there wasn't a more organised protest on the course.

Could be that tivi edited out the protests, that is my suspicion

the ladies stage was neutralised for some distance and shortened on their last day because of a supposed 'oil spill'. Well they said they thought it was an oil spill in live commentary but that they weren't sure of this and they went quickly to an ad break instead of exploring all the possibilities in the commentary.... This 'oil spill' had mysteriously been cleared up - like you couldn't see where it had ever been.....- so that the mens race was able to run the full race distance just a few hours later.

I think it is quite possible that the 'oil spill' was in fact a group of Ineos protesters.

The anti-frackers were made to frack orf

I think the coverage is a good example of media manipulation, control, editing, r2 saw the whole stage with no protests. There are many cameras, drones, clever people cutting and editing. Might be quite easy to edit out noisy protesters beside the road by choosing shots and using other sounds

Maybe the anti-frackers could get some ideas from French protestors

Are other teams sponsored by purveyors of questionable products?
