Tour de France 2021 - Spoilers
Seems Cav is in.

Contrary to reports a few days ago saying he was out, would love to see him win one more stage, or more.

Re: Tour de France 2021 - Spoilers
Hi,
I wish him all the best.
But not having a major tour win since 2016 with his other health issues I think he will struggle due to all the new blood.

Re: Tour de France 2021 - Spoilers
Froome included as well, not as team leader though.
I've watched him being interviewed and he seems modest and very determined to get back to his old form. I'd love to see it but very much doubt it.
We're off to Brittany to see the first 5 stages. We've booked a gite and plan to cycle some of the way to watch each stage. This may have to change as I've put my back out and haven't tried getting my leg over. and we may have to drive to each stage.

Re: Tour de France 2021 - Spoilers
Froome now reminds me of Greg Lemond in the years immediately after his last Tour win, obviously past his best but hoping against hope for a return to peak form. It ain't gonna happen. He might win a stage if he gets far enough behind on GC for the peloton to let him go, but that's about it.francovendee wrote: ↑24 Jun 2021, 8:05am Froome included as well, not as team leader though.

I hope every injured rider, every injured spectator, everyone who suffered any losses as a result claim off that idiot.

Re: Tour de France 2021 - Spoilers
Opi and Omi have been conspicuously absent from the debate about the crash.
So far the only Opi and Omi I've found on the internet are a couple of elderly Texan blackberry farmers. They don't look like the ring leaders of a gang of race saboteurs, but their silence is deafening, so I'll not let them off just yet.

edit: Apparently Opi and Omi means Grandma and Grandpa in German so I think the blackberry farmers can be let off.
