Umm in that stage there was a pass that went through some big hills and looked very scenic. I'd like to add it to my to do touring list. So......anyone know where it is or what its called so i can look it up on google please.

You should also look at Hardknott pass which is nearby and doable as part of the same ride.

Hardnott and Wrynose are about 30 miles from Honister by road.
You could include either Newlands and/or Whinlatter which are in the same area.
Newlands goes between Buttermere & Stair.
Whinlatter is the B5292 west of Keswick.
You'll never know if you don't try it.
