Progress is being made. On my regular Sunday commute today, I thought I had miscounted the hills because I hadn't done the 'challenging' one. As it turned out, I had, but hadn't found it challenging this time.

This isn't all progress since my first post, but I remember struggling up that hill, out of the saddle. Now I just rolled up it with just a bit of concentrating on keeping my cadence up.

Keep at it! The first month is the worst. Soon you will be flying up the hills past all the carbon crowd...which is satisfying.

Thank you.

Off to work soon. Will be doing some reps on this hill on the way.

EDIT: 4 reps completed with my heavy (computer, books) work bag on my back. I'm pleased with that. It isn't a long hill, but this is progress for me.
