Problem feet and general comfort.

Post by mark aldridge »

I have been having a few problems with my right foot and given the lengthy wait on the NHS am trying to sort it out myself. It is the common problem of an extremely painful heel leading to walking on the ball of the foot to ease the pain. It could be any of the standard complaints, bruised heel, heel spur, pulled tendons/ligaments etc. I have been icing it, resting it, elevating it etc and swing from Eureka it is cured to Black Dog I'll chop the bloody thing off.
Having pulled all the insoles and footbeds out of my other shoes to give them a try I think I am onto something. I then remembered buying memory foam for my recumbent seat from Algeos.
I now have a bag of goodies to play around with that will keep me amused for hours.
Google them if you have any biomechanical problems as they have vast amounts of interesting stuff, are not expensive and will point you in the right direction if you give them a call.
