Winter is quite acceptable this year

From cycling perspective winter is worse . But i am also a hill walker and in that respect I much prefer winter in the hills ! :D

You cannot beat a bit of snow and ice. I wish I was still up to it. And winters were proper winters still.

Spring is my favourite at the minute, the colours are great in the bright sunshine, the trees sprouting, water reflecting, changing colour, all sorts of queer birds screeching, herons, storks, white wagtails :wink:

Why? Cold, short days - hot summer is very trying too mind, one can hardly take enough to drink, winter is nearly as bad I think

Except maybe the mild so-called winters we get now, just have to start early to use all the light

This seems an ambiguous question.Winter has fewer daylight hours and arguably bad weather has less chance to manifest itself.Coversely there is less scope for sunshine.In Britain raely get too hot but often too cold.
