This isn't a tip (well, if it is, it's a most uncomfortable one! ).
A couple of weeks ago I broke a tooth. Rather painful. It took me over a week to get a dentist appointment. During that time had to eat on just one side of my mouth, and found it painful chewing. As a consequence, my input of snacks and junk food dropped to zero.
I now find that my weight, after being static (and borderline obese) for months, has suddenly dipped 3Kg (nearly ½ stone in old money). Is there a connection, I wonder? The tooth is now fixed. Can I keep it up?

Suppose that this room is a lift. The support breaks and down we go with ever-increasing velocity.
