I think I am back to some sort of normality and this week, rode over Corney Fell from Seathwaite, then back via Birker Fell.
Total mileage 31 and ascent four thousand three hundred feet.
The Following day, I climbed Black Combe from Beckside and back. A round of six miles with 253 meters of steep ascent/decent.
I was okay on the decent though poles are now indispensible.
Five of us did the bike ride. Me and two others on E Bikes and two pedalling.
Corney Fell from Duddon bridge is steep to begin with, easing as it comes out of the wood.
The weather improved and the decent to Wabberethwaite opened views of the Isle of Man.
I am stiff now but will get into the pool this week.
