Russell Crowe, Australia's hard man of the cinema doesn't seem to suffer much from carrying a 'bit of timber' ;)

An unidentified, overconfident English player upon seeing Puskás before their England v Hungary (1953) encounter.

England lost 6-3 The little fat chap scored 2 goals. A year later England went to Budapest in search of revenge. They lost 7 - 1 with the little fat chap again scoring 2 goals.......

In other words if everything else is ok a paunch doesn't really matter......
