I've long suspected over the counter vitamins were pretty much useless, but now this University of Colorado research program concludes they are harmful to health. Beta Carotene for instance can increase the risk of lung cancer by 20%. Bad news for drug and supplement companies, good news for the rest of us who knew all along a balanced diet and good whole food were the answer.
