Hi,
Would anyone have any suggestions for a 36 hole 650B rim that is tubeless compatible (UST). I've seen the velocity A23 but at over $100 it's a little more than I was hoping to pay. The combination of 36 hole and UST seems to reduce the availability considerably.
The 36 hole is a requirement as I was hoping to use the rim with a SA X-FD hub which I believe is only made in 36 hole.

IIRC, halo does something in that size and drilling?
Have the same problem as I've scored a set of 36h hubs and wouldn't mind building a set of 650b for a 26" Mtb to ber used with 35-40mm tyres.
32h seems the standard for modern aftermarket Mtb rims&hubs

It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best,
since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them.
Thus you remember them as they actually are...

Re: 36 hole 650B Rim
Thanks for the suggestion, although I failed to find the Halo rim. Another search did turn up the Mavic rim - EX 630 Disc which as far as I can see is one of the only 27.5" Mavic rims in 36 hole. Priced at around £50 / rim.
It's certainly getting difficult to mate any of the braked Sturmey Archer hubs to modern rims.

Mavic also do the EX830 in 36h at 27.5, but they are more expensive again at around £60-£65
32 (and 28 for straight pull) seems to be the MTB norm these days. The most 36h I see are 29ers (and the occasional 26)

I had it saved, it was the Halo Vapour, but it seems to be discontinued in 36h.
