Thanks for the heads-up.
However, I'm an inveterate drops user. Even on my longest bike, I can't get a stem long enough for flat bars to be long enough reach.

Curious that they've designed it with a 25.4mm clamp diameter. I would have thought that, especially as it's designed to replace drops rather than flat bars, either 26.0 or 31.8 would fit more bikes; probably 31.8 would be better, not only because "oversize" is effectively standard now (though for how long?) but also because that's the only stem clamp size common to both "road" and "mountain".

Here is my take on bullbars. Looks complicated but is that way to to get a low enough bar height on a Dahon and to reduce reach. The gear change arrangement works extremely well.

I never used the lower part of my drop bars so I did this........
The brake and gear levers are at the right angle when your hands are in the normal position and you can get a proper hold of the bars when the road is bumpy and still change gear and brake with one finger. I just find it more comfortable. You can move your hands forward and crouch lower if you're going fast for the aerodynamics. These are just the standard brake levers that came with the bike, but I had to bend the up the turn-ups on the end of the bullbars a little more so the levers were in the right place.

I don't like flat bars because they tend to be wider and they make your elbows stick out!
