plus 1 for used machines.. However have a good look at what you are proposing to buy, many many times guys land on me saying will you take a look at the bargain I just bought, give it a check over will, please...and it, when examined with a trained eye and a few minutes isn't any bargain..Used bikes are sold for many reasons , a couple.. they don't suit the user or they have had it in a bike shop for repair and the quote is more than they want to pay, eg headset, chain and cassette cables, brake pads, bar tape or grips, tyres... plus labour adds up to more than you are intent on spending..caveat emptor. if you aren't sure take someone who knows just what they are looking at.. nice clean shiny paint isn't always what it is hiding...will
