I am cycle Instructor /cycle mechanic.
I am searching for a new track pump that I can carry easy on my bike to Dr Bikes. The one below looks suitable I read the reviews but would like to know from members of this forum whether it is any good and can it be repair e.g. replacement parts etc.
Can anybody suggest alternative compact track pumps

SKS Rennkompressor. A little smaller than some, foldable feet, unusually robust design, and good parts availability now and probably in the future. It’s not even expensive compared to the mostly plastic alternatives around its price.

have a look at Topeak Morphs.
They are relatively small but have a fold out foot and a T handle.
I have mountain morph, I think it is a bit large for frame fitting, so use it on holidays when it fits inside a pannier.
Due to carelessness I have needed a new hose and nozzle - on separate occasions, both times the LBS had the parts in the following day.
Not as rapid as a true track pump but does a good job, reasonably quickly. If I wanted portability, I would put up with the reduced speed. Suppose it depends on how many inflations you do in a day, you could let your students try it out for practice.

i used to carry one of those foot pumps from argos around with me. they're a bit heavy but they'll fit inside a rucksack no problem. pretty sure it came with a presta adapter too. EDIT max 100psi so maybe not so useful

Lezyne do a couple of options
The Travel Drive is a full size pump but with a slightly smaller gauge & only 1 foot so is is quite flat.
The Micro Floor Drive come in several versions - high pressure or high volume both with & without a pressure gauge. It works like a floor pump but is only 300mm long so can be attached to a frame or put in a bag.
Neither is particularly cheap but they are well made.
