I'm about to replace the front brake cable on my bike, which is equipped with a Campagnolo groupset, including the Ergopower levers. I'm having loads of trouble finding the top end of the cable outer, which is, of course, taped to my bars and wrapped with 'bar tape. I can (just about) see where the inner comes out into the lever body, but when I try to introduce the new cable inner through the cylindrical nipple stop, I can't find the entrance to the top of the inner. I've been wiggling away for about an hour and have given up in the hope that you guys will know a cunning rouse, with which to bring me satisfaction! Any ideas??

Yes, been there, it can be quite frustrating.
If all else fails you can always unwind the bar tape down to the brake lever and sort it from there, but I suspect you have solved the problem one way to another by now.

EDIT...see you have
