Kinesis RC2 weight

Post by Dazzlin »

Hi,
I have ordered an Aethein for January delivery, but need a spare winter machine, found a local Kinesis RC2 in excellent order, can't find any weight any where's.
The guy selling say's he lifts it with little finger on a 54cm.
Upgrade bikes the uk kinesis dealer does not have any weight on their system
Thanks

Unlikely you'll get an answer to that. Kinesis are generally a frame only manufacturer, though they do sell build kits also. It's not a given that it came with a frame and fork combination. It's going to be so dependant on the individual build, that the only thing you can probably do is weigh it. Generally manufactures weight claims are such a load of old hogwash that that's the best thing to do anyway.

Probably a bit lighter than the Racelight T2 which on this list is 9.95 kg. This will be less pedals, bottle cages and mudguards. I've got one (T2) similarly speced and it's about right.
