Bought a secondhand bike over the weekend fitted with Juin R1 cable operated hydraulic brakes.
Rear works fine front nothing pads dont even move. I have not examined anything yet but first question is are the calipers serviceable?
Edge Sports the dealers are closed to day so cant get any information from them.
CX seems to have taken to these so they must be getting a hammering and able to be kept working.
Are there any service kits seals and pistons available?
Going to let the LBS drain them and refill and bleed first to see what happens.
If that fails what are the mech calipers of choice today?
Is it still BB7 or has something better come along?

As you were.
Managed to get the bike up in the stand and have a close look.
Screwed the adjuster in and I have a front break.
Pads are worn though so just pads not calipers required.
If it wasn't raining here in sunny Devon I would take it for a ride.
