My strava is talking cr@p

Post by NEvans »

Having used strava for many years I've always been happy with it. But for the last four/five rides it's just churned out rubbish. Picking up only a few random points on route, generating stupid distances and speeds. Today picked up first and last point, which are over twenty miles apart, it shows these on its map but states only done 0.5 miles.

Probably my phone, but I can't see any changes.

I always had issues with Strava on my iPhone especially MTB rides in the Peak/Lake Districts. It never logged an entire ride. When I "lost" 4 road rides in Devon I gave up on the App and bought a GPS.Neveer had any issues with Strava since.

You could try deleting the App and re-installing. Just in case it's become corrupt.
Funnily enough my Garmin says I have burnt twice as many calories as I would normally have done on my ride today. :?
You'll never know if you don't try it.
