I just got this email re a general recall over a BB

FAG Bottom Bracket cartridge BB66 (April 2014 – May 2017)

"It is possible to identify if your bike is affected by using the serial number checker on our website or referring to the serial number. The serial number can be found on a curved plate applied to the frame, as shown in the image below."

well seems they felt a need to remind people as that was 9 months ago, presumably few have taken up the offer of a new bb?

I just took my newly acquired second hand Brommie to get this sorted. Took less than 30 min. Just asked for my name and email, and as it was second hand, I didn't even have the original invoice.
