2x10 chain ring wear

Post by Fraz101 »

My giant rapid1 bike has done about 200 miles since new.

Whilst cleaning tonight I was inspecting the chain rings.

The smaller ring is perfect however on the larger ring there are some significant differences in the teeth for so little mileage.

Is this normal.

It is a FSA Omega 50/34t chain ring

They look like the ramp teeth, which are there to help the chain climb onto and off that ring when changing gear. Most multiple front chainrings are ike that from the factory.

I've got exactly the same chainset and mines the same as well and probably only covered around 1000 miles.
