Greystoke.

From your OP I'd formed the opinion that the Shimano nuts that came with your Shimano dyno-hub didn't fit properly. Now I'm not sure as you seem to be trying to get hold of some Shimano nuts.

If you'd like I can have a dig around for the domed nuts that came with my DH-3N31 and post them to you, they'll be somewhere in the garage or shed.

SA use M9 x 1 threading as well. If those nuts didn't fit something is damaged or there has been a terrible mistake of some kind.

cheers

The hub I bought didn't come with nuts.....hindsight is a wonderful thing.
It's possible the SA nuts we tried in the shop were in the wrong drawer.
The threads are not damaged and are m9 x1.0 (checked the pitch against an m6 last night).
Thank you Gaz, that's very kind of you.
If I can't source some today I shall pm you
Thanks everyone

I suspect that the nuts in the LBS were either in the wrong drawer or wrongly bagged and marked.
Lights worked well on my morning commute all ready for darker mornings and nights now :D
