So my bike (which is virtually brand new) has developed a rather annoying squeak from the front fork when turning

I’ve tried spraying where the frame and fork meets with lube but no joy??

Anyone advise what to do?

It's probably the cables rubbing against the frame or each other. Lubricate the interfaces with a bit of vaseline.

Definitely not the cables

I’ve moved them and it’s still there. Sounds as though it’s inside the fork tube?

Figured out it was from here

Sprayed with lube and it’s gone!

Would recommend stripping and making sure that there is enough clearance in the cup. Also check that there is grease in the bearings.
Is there any play in the headset?

There’s no play. Like I say the bike has done about 400miles from new and is 2 years old

Any idea how I go about stripping that headset?

You have an "Ahead" headset.
Utube and Parktool have videos similar to this:-

I would be careful though if letting the fork suspend on the cables as this lad does.

Don't suspend it on the cables. Tie the wheel to the down tube so it doesn't drop. And check the anti squeek lube hasn't got into the steerer bearings.
