Garmin Varia mount

Post by ratherbeintobago »

I have a Garmin Varia and a good toy it is too.

Only issue is the mounting bracket - it’s a standard Garmin quarter-turn but held onto the seatpost by rubber bands. I’d hoped K-Edge or similar would make something but no.

Anyone have any suggestions?

You'll never know if you don't try it.

Those mounts are for Garmin computers on the handlebars, what the ratherbeintobago is looking for is a mount for the Varia radar rear light. A quick google gives a couple of options.

There's this on Ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302292023414 or another option is to buy a saddle rail mount like this from Racewaredirect. http://www.racewaredirect.co/shop/garmi ... ail-mount/

Thanks; I’m a bit wary of things that have been 3D printed...

What would be ideal would be a CNC’d adaptor that converts a GoPro mount (of which there are a plethora available) into a quarter turn.

Still 3D printed though?
