Could anyone identify this headbadge - I have been told it's an old style Fausto Coppi : regards Gavin

I guess it must be since the image is certainly Coppi.

I can't tell you what sort of bike it's from - top riders' names have gone on top-end bikes and stuff a Corgi installer would condemn but that looks to have been copied from this autographed pic

Coppi was instantly recognisable from the picture but the signature? I can't see any common letters at all.
The older I get the more I’m inclined to act my shoe size, not my age.

Coppi didn't sign quite the same every time but one variant was 'Coppi Fausto' as here

which looks like the one on the head badge.

FWIW most bikes I have seen with 'coppi' branding have been terrible; enough I would think to have the man himself turn in his grave.
