Hi there
Just pondering my next bike purchase as my cinelli experience has seen better days. I really like the look of Canyon and particularly the ultimate or the endurace. However, how racy is the geometry on the ultimate? Looking at it it doesn't seem too bad but would like to know people's views. On the flip side does the endurace geometry mean it will be a slower bike than the ultimate? In all honesty, really like the look of the ultimate.
Apologies if this subject has already covered. Couldn't see it in a search.
Buying advice - Canyon Endurace or Ultimate
Re: Buying advice - Canyon Endurace or Ultimate
I don't know, but I think you need to actually sit on them to see how comfortable you can get on them.
Re: Buying advice - Canyon Endurace or Ultimate
The stack and reach ratios on the Ultimate and Endurace are different, making the Endurace more upright, so I suppose this might make it a slower bike.
I ride an Endurace and don't find it a particularly slow bike, but then I've not ridden an Ultimate to obtain a comparison. I agree the Ultimate is a great looking bike. Canyon are running a series of test days around the country, might be worth going along and getting a test ride.

What do you plan to do with the bike?
Re: Buying advice - Canyon Endurace or Ultimate
Canyon do sometimes run Rider Experience days, where you can actually go and ride their bikes.

Ride it?;
Both will be great bikes.
How flexible are you?
How many long rides do you intend on doing? If many then take the endurance.
If chain gangs are your thing take the ultimate?
If your feeling your age then perhaps the endurance might be better?
If you still feel a bit of a racer then the ultimate?
I would still go for a supersix over a synapse ask me in ten years time? Might be the opposite?!
