Mirror and indicator on TV now.

Post by Mike Sales »

BBC 2, The Customer is Always Right. on now, 14.8.19 6:30 pm.

Testing new gadget to make cyclists safe!
It's the same the whole world over
It's the poor what gets the blame
It's the rich what gets the pleasure
Isn't it a blooming shame?

Predictably useless. Wrist mounted mirror with magnetic switched orange flasher. £39.95.

In the '60s I had battery powered flashing orange indicators on my bike.
Tell that to the kids of today..........

Crikey - If they ain't looking they won't see you!
Today, driving my big red van, I indicated (in good time I add) RIGHT to pull into a customer's drive, and in my rear view mirror saw a car approaching which was about to overtake me 30 mph road, my speed 20 and decreasing. As there was nothing approaching I slower further, pulled more across the road and wound down the window and stuck my hand out! He eventually decided his overtaking manouver wasn't on. Makes you wonder what goes through some 'drivers' minds. When stopped I checked my indicators and they were indeed working.

Probably nothing going-on in his mind - if indeed he has one.
It's down to the individual, and thank goodness they're not all like that.
They do the same to cyclists.

Too bloody right!
They seem to think that they OWN the roads and NOTHING else has the right to be there or get in their way!
