Good link! :D

As it happens ............... I took it off Mercian some years back. The chain unships from time to time, but if I'm careful, it doesn't at all. I sometimes think about putting it back on, but never get off my bum to do it.

Moulton has a triple chainset as well, and that NEVER unships. 61/48/34

You are joking of course.
I have always used all gears available. Living here, we have downs and ups and some flat bits.

A few years on and I’m still recommending the Jump Stop, though the number of bikes I have that need it has reduced to one.

Jumpstop seems wonderful. Excellent design ............. except it has a black plastic clamp.
It would look wrong on a brightly coloured bike with everything else shiny silver alu.

Don't matter what the colour of the frame is.
If all the fixtures and fittings are black, then a black clamp is fine.

If all the fixtures and fittings are shiny silver, then a single black one on a coloured frame would look very much out of place.
Black frame would be ok though.

You could always paint it with spray chrome for plastics.
That usually comes out looking like polished aluminium.

Yes, I've been considering that. I have an aerosol can of "chrome" paint.

Now, do we have a link to the Jumpstop from a UK supplier?
