Shimano RX8 Mountain Bike Shoes

Hi,

I just bought a pair of Shimano RX8 Mountain Bike shoes. The right shoe is perfect however there is some heel lift in the left. Is a little bit of heel lift acceptable, or will it cause issues later down the line?
