And if one nut is slightly too long and one slightly too short, then take the long one and file a bit off until it’s just right.

Well finally made a choice and have a nice new Spa Mono, there was some interest in some of the other threads so thought I would post a couple of pics, of it almost finished (I transferred most of the parts over from my old Dawes which was converted to run as fixed), Whats its missing is a rear brake, I was using Tektro 559s and they dont work on the mono, so need to buy a new rear brake, other than that very happy.
I went for the steel fork, the colour is metallic bronze, (all the forks are black, and i think its the same fork as the steel audax fork)
