Burley Hitch - solid axle

Post by willpom »

For information:

I have a Burley trailer. The alloy hitch designed for QR snapped. I hadn't got round to buying a new one. I have since upgraded to an Alfine IHG so was looking for an extension bolt/nut to mount a new hitch on.

Alfine/Nexus = 3/8" x 26tpi. Found the Burley adapter... £15+ for one

Stabiliser extender £3.00 for 2 :D

There are similar for M10.

Thanks for the heads up.

At that price both sizes could be of interest.

Further to above. I also purchased a non Burley hitch. Having used it to move the final stuff from old hme to new I can say it works without a hitch....

I've tried one of those before, the official Burley steel version (£££) back at a time when that was the only one available.

Clashed with a rear triangle mounted prop-stand, which the Burley alloy hitch did not. Sold it on, tracked down another alloy one pre-loved.
