Shamal C21 vs C17 disc

Hi all,

I've just placed an order for a new bike for long distance road riding.

I ordered shamal wheels with the shop prior to realising that now there are two types... C17 ultra and C21 (new carbon rim, deeper).

I would be using these wheels all year round. I intend to look after them well, cleaning after every ride etc.

My question is mainly about durability throughout the winter. I am riding disc breaks so rim wear wouldnt be an issue.

Has anyone got experience with the newer C21s? The price is virtually identical so Im mostly looking for performance / durability. I am a heavier rider and the increased spoke count on the C21s may make a difference.
