Sourcing Touring Wheels

My mate built a front touring wheel on a dynamo hub during the immediate post-Christmas lockdown, entirely based on WhatsApp messages from me and using only the bike itself and a spoke key.

It went fine. I did put it in my truing stand (in the garden) a couple of weeks ago to get it just right, but he had the tension correct, the hop pretty good, the dish spot on and it was fairly laterally true - the only real wobble was where one spoke was completely, inexplicably, loose.
