I am looking to purchase a Ridgeback Horizon for club runs and general riding. It has carbon forks and an ali frame. I want to put a dynohub and a lumotec front light on it. What are the earthing issues? Will I need to earth the dynamo to the frame and/or run an earth wire from the lamp (mounted to the front brake mount) to some point on the frame?

I have a Yukon with carbon forks and an occasionaly fitted Schmidt hub with no problem, in fact I never even thought about it.

Just run twin cables from the Dynohub, which is standard on Shimano and Schmidt and it'll be fine.
