Hi all I’ve just finished putting a bike together out of parts I had in my cellar all nos
I I’ve put a pair of dia compe gc07h brake levers on it but I’m finding them very small and uncomfortable has anyone got any suggestions on alternative levers
Cheers

Brake lever size
Re: Brake lever size
That is the way levers were before they had to stretch to accommodate gear gubbins.
Tektro RL340 are modern body length, and Tektro also do fancier ones model RRL.

Re: Brake lever size
Can I get some different shape hoods!!!
Re: Brake lever size
The hoods on TRP RRL levers are much closer to the size/shape of modern integrated brake/shift levers. I have them on a couple of bikes, and find them very comfortable. They also have a quick release built into them, which I find quite useful, as with some rim/tyre combinations, the quick release on the caliper alone doesn't open enough to allow an inflated tyre to be dropped out past the brake blocks.
They are available with either a drilled or non-drilled lever blade, with the non-drilled being cheaper:
