Vintage (circa1980) Men’s cycling Shoes

Post by CamPagNut »

Hi everyone, just freshly signed in!
Can anyone please advise me on where I can obtain a pair of vintage style (preferably leather) road racing shoes from, size UK9. I prepared to pay a decent price for a pair, if good quality. I have exhausted EBay and never managed to find a pair. I have Christophe and Alfredo Binda toe clips and straps on Campag pedals.

Kind regards

You could try asking around on retrobike.co.uk or the Classic and Vintage section of the (mainly US-based) Bikeforums.net. I assume you've got saved searches set-up on eBay, so you don't miss anything that appears on there?

Vittoria 1976 classics. About 120 quid new..
Or those designer types like like Dromati or Quoc. Maybe Aruro or Willim Lennon

I think it's still possible to get new leather cycling shoes in that style (sorry I can't remember the maker),
