Syncros rr2.0 for single speed?

Post by Jgibbons »

Hello,

I'm looking for some new wheels for my single speed I purchased recently and came across some syncros rr2.0 at a good price. Came of a Scott Foil 20. Wondering if they will be a good choice for the work and any fitting advice for the cog etc.
Thanks

Can't see the rear hub. Is it for a screw on free wheel or a cassette which means a kit or a bunch of spacers? If the OLD is the same it will fit. Rim width suit your tastes?

If they are from a Scott Foil they will be a freehub, so you will need to use spacers to fit a single sprocket in place of cassette.

Do the drop outs match? The Scott i guess is likely to be 130/135. If you brought a track or single speed specific frame, it could be 110 or 120?
