Tyres on Specialized Roubaix

Post by nez »

I wonder if anyone has established what are the largest/most pliable tyres which fit on a Specialized Roubaix with disks. I want to give a bit more of a plush ride when I change the tyres.

Have a look for a review. This is often mentioned. Measure space at crucial areas, usually at the chain stays.

Thanks. I think the reviews are being a bit conservative. Measurement plus a bit suggests 35s fit, but I wanted to find out if someone had actually fitted similar - you know, stuff distends when you actually ride. Unless you are pro-rider thin

I've got a 2020 Roubaix expert with 32mm Continental GP5000 Tubeless tyres. There's 5mm clearance at the tightest point (chain stays).
