clothing

Post by Lenny63 »

When I comes to mountaineering, I know what brands to buy and what brands to avoid. What are the recognised quality brands in the cycling universe?

Pretty much anything in the Wiggle / Merlin / CRC stuff is good.
Castelli and Rapha are superb quality, but not cheap.

Altura and Endura are decent and good value.

Personally, I like Lusso - nice kit, not crazy prices and made in the UK.

LeCol and Assos, but neither are cheap. I have a pair of Assos shorts and though they are very comfortable, they’ve not been particularly hard wearing fir what they cost -£150.

I like Fat Lad at the Back, especially the jerseys, designed for the bigger-boned amongst us, though they do smaller sizes too. It’s good quality clobber, as they say on their website.
Sherwood CC and Notts CTC.
