Microshift STi type levers

Post by mattsccm »

Aquired a project bike with the Microshift STi type shifters. R9 model . The bike originally came set up as a triple(Felt Z100) and I reckon it's original. The left lever shifts up perfectly but when dropping from the big ring clatters past the middle into the granny. No apparent damage to suggest that a stop point is worn and without any mech but just a gentle tug on the cable it feel ok, but of course this isn't a real test.
Anyone had any experience of these?

I have a pair of the double 7 speed ones. They have no trim facility and are very sensitive to cable adjustment. They did work but I "upgraded" to Sora to get trimmability.
