Got a retul fit which frame would you recommend?

Dimensions........
On the rivet's 56cm bike has 15cm head tube and 2.5cm spacers ....total 17.5cm
56 Domane has 17.5cm head tube......no different, if we ignore differences in headset/fork crown height....probably safe to ignore.

Paulatic's 10 year old bike......be useful to know head tube length. Also you say "75mm of steerer tube" . surely thats not 75mm of spacers under the stem? That would have been deeply unfashionable even 10 years ago on a road bike.

why do you think 58? :D
Top tube length is the most important.
I don't think top tube length is the most important metric for a first road bike.
The ability to get the bars level with the saddle (or almost level) until the rider gets used to drop bars is likely to be more important.
Also frame reach is only 3mm longer on the 58 than the 56, but stack (head tube) is 20mm greater. THIS could be useful

Not safe to assume you can "add spacers"......there need to be spare steerer length to add the spacers to, unless its an alloy steerer when you can use an ugly steerer extender.

Head tube is 175mm
Then there is height of top headset and the 75mm is total of spacers and stem above.

I’m very close to 70 and still happy with the adjustments I made to the bike aged 60. It is though only a fine weather and no luggage bike now. The promised clearance for mudguards was never satisfactory on muddy roads.

I'm 5'10" and I ride a 56cm in all my modern bikes and 22" for my vintage bikes.

Never had any problems.

If your new to road bikes you might prefer a more relaxed endurance bike thou.

Ridden my freinds 52cm and it's like riding a BMX.

It has a tapered alloy steerer...
