Re: Brompton fitting handal bar ends?
Agree on price. My Missus has the Ergon equivalent on her M type. They add a lot on comfort and hand position option. I just have short bar ends on my M type, which are great but the flat palm section on the Ergon's add extra comfort. I ride on the ends most of the time on non nightmare traffic stretches. We still use the old style brake levers which can be operated ok ish with hands on the bar ends.
Probably will need to cut out a hunk to go around brake lever clamps.
I reckon that bar ends are probably the most useful upgrade you can make to a Brommie. It's surprising how much it improves the ride experience. I can't work out why they still sell them without.
SO, if they are made ok/fit ok they should be a very good buy.

On an S-type it is tricky because they need to clear the front wheel and mudflap when folded. Cane Creek Ergo Control will do the job.

Here is a post that may be useful. It deals with folding and ground clearance issues when using these style of grips and bar ends.
