I've noticed that the flashing red light on the rear of the helmet no longer works.
I assume that the battery is flat.
I haven't really used the light.
Again, I assume it got switched on when the helmet was stored and that is why the battery is flat.
Anyway, Internet search is not being my friend (as usual).
There are two red plastic tabs top and bottom.
When levered the light comes out a short way and then stops.
I am reluctant to apply a lot of force in case there is some trick to releasing it.
Has anyone got one of these (or similar) and managed to extract the light?

Ah!
You just need a little more courage and a wiggle or two.
Also a tiny cross head screwdriver and a replacement CR 1620 3V button cell.
[Which I have in a Tronic multi pack.]
After all that it isn't a very bright light and not much use in daylight.
Still, every day is a school day.

I think it might run on a keyway/t bolt so slides one direction so continue along the axis it popped up on, and not off in another direction as that will snap the key or t-bolt part off.
