Tubus Logo Rack

The current rear rack I have, Tortec Expedition, is very tall.

Thinking of replacing with a Tubus Logo, but wish to avoid the same problem again.

Can anybody tell me how tall the Tubus rack is.

From the centre of the bolt hole to the top is 40cm and to the pannier rail 33 cm.

Two sizes are available, I bought the smaller (26") size and it fits well on my 700c tourer.
I originally bought the larger (28") size which is intended for 700c wheels but found it too tall. I rather think the 28" is intended for German Treking Bikes which have wider tyres.

Is the rack too tall, or the panniers too high?

The Panniers can be mounted at a lower level on the Logo, and still have a higher "platform"

The rack is too tall.

Rack pack will not fit under saddle.

I did not realise two sizes are available.

Certainly seems that the one designed for 26ins wheels would fit and be a good option.
