Cassette Bottom Bracket

Can anyone advise as to what the advantages are of using the above?

They work much better than loose ball BB sets - at least, square taper ones do!

Fit and forget.

They are completely unserviceable but are simple to fit, relatively cheap and IME long lasting.

Personally I wouldn't go back to cup and cone for a square taper BB.

Ditto.
I would add, however, that they CAN be relatively cheap. Some are not, but you get what you pay for - or at least I hope I did!
