Suspension Stem

Post by Bob H »

I currently use a Girvin Flexstem and a JD Suspension Slick Rock Stem both of which appear to be obsolete and are wearing out after many miles. I cannot find anyone who makes/supplies susp. stems which are my preferred option for a comfortable ride.

I dislike suspension forks; they are ugly, impractical for mudguards, panniers and lights etc, and require too much maintenance. I think the Cannondale Headshock is brilliant but do not want to be restricted to one builder, especially aluminium!

Any advice/guidance would be very much appreciated.
