Tool to remove stanctions,ideally complete kit for mag 21,quadra etc

the tools you need are;

- a full hex spanner or socket for the top caps

- a very long allen key (5mm IIRC but if aftermarket foot bolts are fitted then it could be 6mm you need)

Both tools can be sourced from tool shops or made.

You can use several 1/4" drive (or larger higher up) extensions and then a slim 1/4" drive bit holder for the foot bolts.

Since I knew I'd be doing the job a few times I made my own long 'T' drivers by welding.

Full hex wrenches that fit the top cap are found in motorcycle tool kits.
Many socket sets come with full hex sockets that will work OK too.

Just wondering if you would know whether indy fork stanctions will fit into quadra or mag 21 legs,and what tool is required to remove a quadra stantion I can't see an allen key bolt

I think that with a bit of fiddling about you can mix some indy and quadra parts.

You need along 5mm allen key that reaches down the full length of the fork tube to reach the foot bolt on indys and I think Quadras are the same. You won't easily see it from the top because it is right down the bottom.
